Procrastination …can I demand this word assume responsibility for a family book as yet uncompiled? Can a word indeed be accountable? One day, it will arrive, the book I mean.
Travel, now there’s a subject one would not procrastinate about. I believe a few of us undertake a fair bit of this from time to time, be it locally or internationally. Come Easter Sunday, I’ll be winging it to Tokyo to catch up with Tim and Moko, from there to Kyushu to meet Moko’s family and back to Tokyo via Nagoya where Vicky lives. Not that I’m entirely popular for this decision! Liam has quite clearly stated his three-year-old perspective i.e. …you’ve had quite enough ‘holidays’ this year (one funeral, Christchurch, one conference, Rotorua); I’m not very happy about that, I might have to put you on last chance” Don’t you love it? And when the postcards arrived from Rotorua…’I'm not big enough to be getting mail!’
Amelia is running about and beginning to chatter, she’s such a cutie! They are both so much fun to have around… pix coming soon…
Back to the particular subject… family reunion… we need a date, a country and a location that suits us all…. So back to you! Start blogging your ideas and comments.
Am happy to go along with whatever timeframe best suits, either two or three yearly; other family commitments will always crop up, no doubt.Would love to go back to Vaughan Park at Long Bay again; relive those few days with an additional few as it wasn’t really long enough! Sydney would be a goer as well; we can’t always have Auckland as the location!
Am in the process of posting some photos on a secure family site on Flickr; they take a little time to post so will try reducing pixel size with a few tonight.

We loved Vaughn Park too-would love a re-visit
I have never done this before (blogged) so am unsure as to protocol/technique etc ie I am getting the right tone? Never new the internet was really just a new way to display my insecurities..
Must go and vote- we have a state election today-B1 or B2- think I might follow Mereille’s example and vote informal (she only did once, but a 10 year old me followed her out of the polling booth complaining loudly that she hadn’t filled in the form, wondered why she seemed so snippy)

I have not blogged before this week either. Was interesting setting it up;some trial and error involved. Was great to catch up for lunch with Michele today! Currently have two little people running around here. Hope to get some more pictures up sometime this weekend….

First time I have blogged and it is a bit of a mystery to me. I have tried to load a picture of Elise from the Sculpture on the Gulf but it seems to have ended up somewhere else. Ah well I am sure it will become easier with practice. Hullo to the cousins out there

Hello all,
Have red eyes from weeping. My daughter-in-law Jennifer and baby Sacha (14 weeks) have just gone back to San Francisco. Have had a lovely time with them and lots of baby snuggles and walking the pram as all good Grannies do to let mummies sleep in. Great to hear you’re following Mereille, Jo. Snippy is such a good word. Love and off to bed. 11pm Tuesday night
